Donegal Mammy

"Donegal Mammy" Oil painting on board 10 x 8 inches in size. I came across these sheep in Springtime as I was posting a letter at the Post Office, Business Park Rd, Carnamogagh Lower, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. I took some quick photos and painted the scene later. The lambs were so playful and full of the joys of spring, the Mum a bit weary of me and protective of her sheep. A gorgeous rural setting beside a place of activity.
