Pollen Bay

"Pollen Bay" 8 x 10 inch Oil painting on a canvas board, and mounted on a wooden frame. Recent painting I created of Pollen Bay, Ballyliffin after a lovely stay at Ballyliffin Lodge, Co Donegal in the Inishowen Peninsula. A photo I took inspired the painting you can see how I like to interpret colour through use of oil paint and oil pastels. Showing the process from a cold December day back to the studio and finished product. To be honest I never quite know what will happen, I just let the paint take where it will!
